Board Allan Zion
Managing Director Allan has more than 25 years of industry experience, beginning his stockbroking career as IT manager with Mathison and Hollidge (RSA). After immigrating to Australia in 1988, Allan was IT Manager at BNZ Norths for three years before he joined BOS Stockbroking before it was renamed Shaw Stockbroking in 1993. In the mid-1990's, Allan was appointed Administration Manager of Shaw Stockbroking and in 1997 he became General Manager. Currently acting as the Managing Director, Allan oversees a wide range of Shaw's operations. His responsibilities are broad and varied, including IT, Human Resources, Dealing, Derivatives, Settlements, Cash Management and Back Office operations.
Allan also oversees Shaw's Parramatta and Melbourne offices. Allan has served as Director on Shaw's Board for over ten years. As an Executive Director, Allan works with fellow Board members to ensure that management decisions are in the best interest of our shareholders, clients, staff and other stakeholders.
