Allan was appointed Managing Director of Shaw Stockbroking in September 2009. Allan is responsible for the overall performance of Shaw and takes a hands-on role in presiding over the company's daily operations.

With over 26 years in stockbroking, Allan's experience includes corporate strategy, financial oversight, operational and risk management, compliance, information systems, equity and derivative dealing both nationally and internationally. Allan was with the Company 19 years before being appointed Managing Director, much of which time was spent as Chief Operating Officer.

Allan is a Responsible Executive (ASIC and ASX Clear) and Accredited Derivatives Adviser Level 2 (ASX). He is a Master Stockbroking Member of the Stockbrokers Association of Australia and sits on the Board of Shaw Stockbroking.
