Management Craig Beatton Chief Financial Controller Craig graduated from the University of Wollongong in 1991, having completed a Bachelor of Commerce. He began his career in chartered accounting in 1990, prior to graduating from university. He joined PKF Chartered Accountants in 1997 where his role covered a range of business advisory, taxation and audit services. Craig was admitted as a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia in 2000. After joining Shaw Stockbroking in 2003 as a financial accountant, he became the company's Financial Controller in 2006 before being appointed Chief Financial Controller in 2008. Craig is responsible for the overall financial stewardship of the firm. He leads a team of six, managing the financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, taxation and statutory audit affairs of the company, whilst also overseeing the running of our Money Market department. He reports to the regulatory bodies on a regular basis and ensures our liquid capital requirements are met on a day-to-day basis. Craig's responsibilities also include liaising with banks and other financial institutions, and regulatory bodies, including the ASX, ASIC and ATO.
